Cultivating Clean Air in Urban Environments (GARDEN – ROMD00453) is a cross-border project that promotes urban gardens as a practical solution for greener cities, cleaner air, and healthier urban communities.
The project aims to improve urban environmental quality by protecting biodiversity, developing green infrastructure, and reducing pollution, with a focus on active involvement of local communities.

We are transforming 0.8 hectares in the Municipality of Ungheni into a vibrant green lung through a strategic partnership with local authorities and the community.

Local impact
We are setting up a 0.8 ha pilot urban garden in Ungheni (Republic of Moldova) in partnership with the Ungheni City Hall.

Green solutions
We are testing green solutions for clean air and biodiversity.

Cross-border Cooperation
We work with communities in Ungheni and Iași through education, workshops, and civic engagement.
